CLOUDS MOVE WITH GREAT SPEED

Competition

When Russia launched its brutal full-on invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022, unleashing a war of aggression that continues to this day, Roman volunteered to help wherever he could. In doing so, he began to document the fateful experiences of the people he would meet along the way. Now these efforts have been condensed into a documentary film that, through the stories of protagonists Buryi, Vadym and Tetyana, offers deep insight into the lives of the Ukrainian people, as they struggle to survive under a state of emergency, and manages to convey, alongside the harrowing reality of war, the touching acts of human kindness and solidarity to be found as well.
