Summertime, the 1990s, in small-town Bulgaria: 12-year-old Ro lives with her quick-tempered brother and checked-out mother and dreams of cinema. Fully committed, she defies scorching heat and a tyrannical video shop attendant on her mission to smuggle out the coveted VHS tape in her knitted handbag.
