36-year-old Stela's life is a constant stream of failed relationships and bungled employment opportunities. All the energy she can muster is devoted to her obsessive worship of the aging Yugoslavian schlock-pop singer Boban. When the 2008 financial crisis forces her family to move to the countryside from Timișoara, she seeks contact via Facebook with Vera, herself a pop icon and former romantic partner of the male performer. Unexpectedly, a close bond forms between lonely Vera and the unstable Stela. With bone-dry, absurd humour, Ivana Mladenović's film follows Stela and the complicated relationships she maintains with herself and others.
