To sell or not to sell? That is the question – and it splits the farmers of Nošovice down the middle. One camp says go for the money and say goodbye and good riddance to fallow land. The other side is reluctant to see good agricultural land become the site of a Hyundai production plant. The auto concern, showing itself from its socially concerned and responsible side, promises the Czech landowners an attractive future that will amply compensate for their loss. But how will things really pan out? The documentary takes a searching look at growing industrialization in the course of globalization: will what looks like a step forward turn out, in some cases, to be a lurch backwards?
