DEAD MAN WALKING

Symposium

Nine years after the end of the war Himzo Muratović, who was offi cially declared dead and given the status of Bosniak “šehid” (a martyr fallen on the battlefi eld), re-appears in his village, obviously very much alive. His return triggers all manner of confl icting rumours. With subtle irony Petar Orešković sets out in search of a truth that becomes increasingly uncertain.
