Dato Janelidze’s poem-like film shows some of the surprises and new experiences each day brings: Deduna teaming up with an orphan boy to liberate an ox that has come stuck in the mud; the arrival of an itinerant string quartet playing Schubert – good reason for the girl to take a day off school.
