Caleidoscope

Inspired by the Slavic fairy tale "The Gigantic Turnip", a beetroot grows so big that no one can manage to pull it out of the ground. When a crane operator steps up to help, the prodigious vegetable suddenly strikes back with a vengeance. Chaos ensues, and the army is called in to contain the menace. Alas, amid destruction and fear, a question arises: is raw violence the right response, or is there perhaps another way to pacify the untamed forces of nature?
