Fatos has a special relationship to the forests of Kosovo's Rugova Canyon. He knows every tree here, even sleeps outside in winter and spends lots of time just being a part of unspoilt nature. As one can imagine, illegal logging and the related government inaction hit him very hard, that much more than your average person. This love for the woods was also a bond he shared with his older brother Beni, who fought in the Kosovo War. In her film, Antoneta Kastrati (ZANA) attempts to understand Fatos' multi-layered problems and trauma.
