A doctor in a mental asylum tells his assistant what advantages the us of a video camera during a patient’s treatment can have. Tinček, who is full of life, is the demonstrational object who later understands the therapeutic use of the camera in a totally different way: Together with his friend Hugo he steals it and they escape from the clinic. From now on Hugo and Tinček are almost completely seen through the camera’s lenses in this temporary Schwejkparaphrase. Tinček and Hugo want to shoot a love story, starring Tinček as the hero. He believes, however, that a real hero first has to rescue the lady of his heart from danger. But their clumsy attempts at coming to the rescue of young ladies fail miserably. Finally they meet Magdalena, a prostitute who really needs help. Beaten by her pimp and tortured by clients, Magdalena is determined to commit suicide. She wants Hugo and Tinček to help her with it. But she wants to visit her grandmother in the countryside for one last time: An idyllic outing that does not last long, though. Remember: Magdalena as well as Tinček and Hugo are on the run ...
