Within the Great Nordic Matriarchy, a family of wealthy industrialists is celebrating New Year's Eve. The women are waiting for the men – for them to finally grow up, or at least show up. Love always ends unhappily, if it rears its head at all. The years pass – the family fades. It's surely no coincidence that THE NORTH WIND at times recalls a post-apocalyptic variation on Visconti's THE DAMNED, or a Chekov play. Featuring a soundtrack from rock star Zemfira - Litvinova's comrade-in-arms of many years.
