THERE ONCE WAS A SINGING BLACKBIRD

Homage

The timpanist Gija Agladse bears the title of “Best Musician” in the opera house orchestra. Affable and carefree, he’s a sunny boy who takes each day as it comes. Easily distracted and seldom punctual, he flaps around like a bird without completing any task. He can’t even write down the music that’s in his head. Imaginative tours through the streets of Tbilisi in all their bustling activity channel his very impulsive flow of life, which culminates in a very sudden death.
