CROSSING BOUNDERIES
Shortly after a small orchestra is set up in a small village, the conductor begins to realize that even music has its limits. Taking an unconventional approach to ethnic tensions in the Polish-Slovakian border region, the film illustrates the conflict by the example of Kacwin village orchestra. This richly symbolic depiction indirectly gives rise to questions about the possibility of transcending national and social barriers.
