DEAD COOL

Highlights

Droll comedy about two brothers named Kiza and Lemi, who have to transport their dead grandfather to the funeral in Vrsac by train. Since obviously nobody is to know that there is a corpse travelling on the train, the brothers tell their fellow travellers that their grandfather has a very deep sleep and under no conditions must be awakened. Small-time drug dealer Limeni also rides in the crowded compartment. He has totally different worries since a junkie bride has left him with her cheeky, seven-year-old daughter Anna and then disappeared without trace. While Kiza and Lemi get drunk in the service car, and Limeni flirts with a beautiful stranger in the corridor, the corpse in the compartment gets hit on the head by a heavy suitcase. The other passengers of course assume that the piece of baggage has killed the man. In fear of the police, they simply throw the dead man out of the window. When the brothers return to the compartment they don’t believe their eyes. And the fellow traveller’s explanation, the old man must have gone to the toilet, irritates them even more. When Limeni learns the truth from little Anna, he goes looking for the dead man – he had foisted half a kilo of heroin on the “sleeping” granddad. Of course Kiza and Lemi also try everything to find their grandfather again.
