Die Akkreditierungsphase für die 26. Festivaledition läuft bereits! In diesem Jahr findet das Festival vom 21. – 27. April 2026 in Wiesbaden sowie weiteren Spielorten im Rhein-Main-Gebiet statt. 

Mit Ihrem Festivalbadge erhalten Sie Einlass zu den Festivalfilmen in Wiesbaden, Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Mainz und Gießen sowie zu den meisten Veranstaltungen des Rahmenprogramms. Voraussetzung ist jeweils, dass die Veranstaltungen noch nicht ausverkauft sind. Ggf. sind einzelne Veranstaltungen in der Sektion „Kaleidoskop“ nicht inkludiert. Mit Ihrer Akkreditierung haben Sie zudem Zugriff auf die goEast Online-Mediathek. Dort stellen wir eine Auswahl unseres filmischen Programms zur Verfügung.

Eine Akkreditierung können Sie vorab ausschließlich über Eventival beantragen, bzw. in der Festivalwoche auch kurzfristig an unserem Info-Counter (ggf. müssen Sie dann mit Wartezeiten rechnen). Bitte beachten Sie auch, dass wir ab dem 17. April eine zusätzliche Nachakkreditierungsgebühr erheben.

Auch 2026 unterstützt goEast Filmschaffende und Nachwuchstalente aus Mittel- und Osteuropa und vernetzt sie mit Gleichgesinnten aus Deutschland. Für das East-West Talent Lab wurde erneut ein vielseitiges Fortbildungsprogramm konzipiert. Es bietet den Teilnehmenden Raum für den Austausch mit Branchenvertretungen von Fernsehsendern und Förderinstitutionen sowie die Möglichkeit, Projektideen zu präsentieren und Partnerschaften für Koproduktionen anzubahnen. 

Das Programm umfasst unter anderem Präsentationstrainings und Einzelmentorings mit der Filmemacherin Cathy de Haan sowie der Industry- und Dokumentarfilmexpertin Brigid O’Shea. Kurator und Filmexperte Nikolai Niktin vermittelt die richtigen Strategien für die Auswahl von Filmfestivals und Jurymitglied Veronika Janatková hält einen Vortrag über das Filmen in Ländern, wo der Staat die Kameras, die Gerichte und die Definition der Realität selbst kontrolliert. Porträt-Gast Ada Solomon gibt zudem eine Case Study zur Finanzierung und zum Vertrieb einer Koproduktion. 

PROJECT MARKET PITCH  

Vor einer dreiköpfigen Fachjury und Publikum präsentieren zwölf Teilnehmende des East-West Talent Lab ihre Projektideen mit non-fiktionalem und dokumentarischem Fokus. Die Talente kommen aus Mittel- und Osteuropa. Jeder Pitch dauert sieben Minuten und wird im Anschluss unmittelbar mit Feedback und Fragen der Jury vertieft. Der Jury gehören in diesem Jahr Bettina Brokemper, Veronika Janatková und Aliaksei Paluyan an.  

Ausgezeichnet werden die überzeugendsten Präsentationen: Sie haben die Chance auf ein mit 3.500 Euro dotiertes Renovabis-Recherchestipendium für ein Dokumentarfilmprojekt mit Menschenrechtsschwerpunkt sowie auf den Pitch the Doc Preis in Form eines Weiterbildungs-Sachpreises im Wert von 500 Euro. Die Bekanntgabe der Preisträger*innen erfolgt im Rahmen der goEast-Preisverleihung durch die Jury. 

Der Project Market Pitch, bei dem die nominierten Projekte vorgestellt werden, ist öffentlich und findet am Montag, 27. April, im Heimathafen im Alten Gericht um 10:00 Uhr statt.
